The first announcement at today's WWDC keynote is exciting for Mac gamers. Bing Gordon of EA took the stage with Steve Jobs to announce that, starting in July, the following EA properties are going to make their way to the Mac:
•Madden 08
•Tiger Woods 08
•Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix
•Command & Conquer 3
•Battlefield 2142
•Need For Speed Carbon
John Carmack of iD Software also took the stage to demo a top secret next-generation engine. The demo reportedly featured 20 GB worth of textures on screen at once.

Use the Wiimote with your Mac
Alright, I recognize that I'm late on this one. About six months late, in fact. It's just too cool not to share.
For those Mac and Wii equipped folk out there, check out WiiSaber. Lucas-fearing folk will appreciate this even more: It's an lightsaber simulator that pairs your Wiimote to your Mac.
It will make all your childhood space opera fantasies come true. Except the Princess Leia one with the gold bikini. And Jabba. And, er. Ahem.
