...is turning out to be an extremely expensive proposition on Xbox 360.

Three song expansion packs cost 500 Microsoft points, which is a shady concealment of the true cost—about $6.37. Whiners on the interwebs say that at this rate, Guitar Hero I would cost almost $100 dollars. True, but I think we'll get a discount rate on the inevitable Guitar Hero I expansion pack.

Still, the future of Guitar Hero looks killer. The wireless guitars for 360 feature jacks for the Live communicator headset and even effects pedals for future iterations. Count me stoked, especially if Yes makes an appearance on the Guitar Hero III soundtrack.
